Our Mission Statement
We aim to help youth find and explore a love of aviation. Becoming a pilot, whether for recreation or a career, is an amazing accomplishment. It can open up the world to so many new experiences and opportunities. Our goal is to give a helping hand to those with this dream and help them push past barriers the barriers of entry that have stopped so many others.
How We Accomplish Our Goals
In aviation, for perspective pilots, there is a discovery flight. It is an introductory flight experience offered by flight schools and instructors, it is designed to give students a taste of flying an aircraft and a broad overview of what flight training involves.
During a discovery flight, students get to sit in the pilot seat, have some control over the aircraft under the guidance of a certified instructor, and experience basic flying maneuvers like takeoffs and landings.
The aim is to provide a hands-on preview of flying to help new, potential student pilots decide if they want to pursue formal flight training.
With that our nonprofit aims to provide fully funded discovery flights to potential student pilots serious about getting into the world of Aviation. Allowing them a window into this world and allowing them to make a well-educated decision about their flight training. And with that providing financial aid through their flight training journey.
