My journey from being an orphaned immigrant to the CEO of Bolton Financial has been a testament to resilience and growth. I’ve had the privilege of receiving support from family, friends, and mentors along the way, and I’m truly grateful for every step.
My high school years were a cultural shock, but I learned a lot from the experience. I graduated with honors and was voted most likely to succeed. With two college degrees, I entered corporate America with confidence, earning multiple Employee of the Month awards and leading a team that helped boost client outcomes.
Outside of work, I love volunteering with my children and supporting causes like the Alzheimer’s Association Walk and Mary’s Walk for grieving children. This work with local charities might have made me think that I could help my daughter start one of her own.
Hi, I’m Faiza Inusah. With my mom’s support, I started this nonprofit at 15, inspired by my experiences growing up near Bradley International Airport in Connecticut. Although I never initially wanted to be a pilot, a movie about WWII aviation sparked my curiosity and led me to research flying. After a discovery flight and learning more about the field, I realized that aviation was more accessible than I had thought.
Seeing the lack of diversity among pilots—particularly people of color and women—motivated us to create this nonprofit. Our mission is to make aviation more accessible and visible, especially to those who might not otherwise have known about these opportunities. We aim to break down barriers and provide more information and opportunities in the aviation world, whether for career pursuits, recreation, or simply for the joy of flying.
